Is Nurtured 9 a subscription box service?
Nurtured 9 offers curated gift boxes that give you complete control over which luxe self-care items and maternity or postpartum essentials you receive in your order. We offer Signature pregnancy and new mom gift boxes that have been curated by us (moms who’ve been there) to take the guesswork out of gifting your special loved ones. We build each bundle by hand as soon as you place your order!
We also offer Curate-Your-Own pregnancy and new mom gift boxes that give you the ability to custom tailor your own beautiful gift for your expectant loved one (or yourself!). And finally, we have two subscription options: Pregnancy and New Mom, that each include three gift boxes.
Are your gift boxes customizable?
Yes! You can Curate-Your-Own gift box by selecting any items from our shop. None of our gift boxes are assembled in advance, offering endless possibilities for customization. In fact, have a special request? Get in touch— we love making your gifts extra thoughtful!
Who founded Nurtured 9?
Lifelong friends, Lauryn and Lindsey, both felt there should be more information and focus on self-care for moms-to-be during their own pregnancies, and so they built Nurtured 9, a brand 100% dedicated to helping moms-to-be and new mamas feel more cared for, comforted, supported, and loved.

How is my order gift wrapped and packaged?
We want moms-to-be and new moms to feel incredibly special when they open up their box from Nurtured 9 – whether this is a surprise gift or they’ve ordered the items themselves! That’s why our gift boxes are beautifully assembled in simple, classic gift wrapping, including tissue paper, ribbon, two note cards, and sweet “JUST FOR YOU, MAMA” messages sprinkled throughout, from the black and white washi tape that secures the tissue paper to the thick packaging tape along the exterior of the box. Our goal is to help mama feel comforted and loved as she opens up a package from Nurtured 9, from start to finish.
Can I add a personal gift message to my order?
Yes! Please write your personal gift message at checkout. We handwrite your note on a gift card for you so it has an extra personal touch.
Is pricing included in the shipment of the gift box?
No. Our gift boxes come beautifully gift wrapped without a receipt, packing slip or pricing details.
If I add lots of stuff to a curate-your-own gift box or add additional items to a signature bundle, will it all fit and be wrapped together?
Yes! Rest assured your items will always be thoughtfully assembled. If all of your items do not fit in one box, a second will be tiered on top, so that everything is packaged together nicely. If you have any additional instructions or notes, please add them where you enter your gift note.
Shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
We do our part to get Mama her pampering and so orders are typically fulfilled within 1 business day. Orders generally take 2-5 business days to arrive via ground shipping, depending on where it's going, and of course please remember that weather and delays are out of our control—we want your gift to get to Mama as badly as you do! : )
If you need your order sooner, you may select one of our expedited shipping methods at checkout. Please note we are not able to control shipping times and delivery dates regardless of what we choose.

HOLIDAY NOTE: Please expect shipping times to take a little bit longer than usual during the busy December holiday period, when UPS and USPS see an increase in overall shipping volume across the country; Once packages leave our doors, shipping speed is completely out of our control.
I need my package by a certain date...What do the shipping options actually mean? Does Next Day Air mean I will get my package the next day?
First and foremost, don't forget to allow for 1 business day of bundling time! We do prioritize rush shipping bundles to the top of our list, and we do our best to get your gift out the door right away. However, there are factors that are out of our control. For example, if your order comes in after our daily shipment has gone out, it will not go out the same day. We also are not in control of the shipping carriers' timelines. 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air do not always mean exactly 2 days or the very next day; particularly if your order comes in during the afternoon/evening, on a Friday or a weekend day. If you have specific questions, please contact us or visit the UPS website. Lastly, please note that shipping carriers do not deliver on Sundays!
Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere in the US, including Hawaii, Alaska, and all US territories. We advise against sending gifts to hospitals and non-permanent addresses, as unfortunately, that can result in lost packages!
Where do you ship from?
Nurtured 9 pregnancy essentials and gift boxes are shipped directly from us in Tucson, AZ to your door.
My order has been marked as delivered, but my recipient hasn’t received it.
We run into this every now and again, particularly at residencies where there are multiple units. First, have the recipient check all potential delivery locations at the address. The carrier may have placed it in a secure location out of view of the street, such as near a back entrance, a garage or place safe from weather hazards. Or, it may be in or near a community mail box. Another common scenario is that a neighbor snagged it on accident with their own items, so it is also advised to ask others in the building, as well as check with any lobby attendants who may have been on duty when the package was delivered. We often find that if a recipient waits a few days, it will turn up!
If you still have no luck in locating it and your tracking information says it was delivered, ask the recipient to contact her local USPS or UPS branch with her tracking information and make sure they aren’t holding the package there. Sometimes items are incorrectly scanned. Although this is a rare occurrence that is out of our control, there is a chance the package was stolen or lost. We will do everything we can to help you locate your package and are happy to open an investigation with the carrier. We also recommend you file a carrier claim.
I chose one of your expedited shipping options at checkout and my order was delayed. Help!
We are so sorry! We will always do our part to get your order out as soon as we can. If you’ve selected an expedited shipping method at checkout, we move your order up to the very front of our packaging queue. However, once your order leaves our studio, we unfortunately are no longer in control of that package and must trust that our carriers will deliver our orders to our customers as promised. We are unable to offer refunds for expedited shipping costs. We’re sorry!
I think I might have entered in the wrong shipping address at checkout! What should I do?
Please double check your recipient’s address before you place your order and also carefully review your order confirmation email to ensure everything is correct. Contact us if you accidentally entered the wrong shipping address and we will happily make any changes to the shipping address prior to shipment. However, once a package leaves our studio, we are unable to make any changes to the shipping address and we are unfortunately unable to provide a replacement or refund for that order. However, if your package is returned to our studio as a result of a wrong delivery address, we will let you know immediately, and gladly provide a full refund!

What’s your return policy?
We spend great time and attention to detail curating our bundles and shop items to include only products that we love and used ourselves during pregnancy and new motherhood. We hope you’ll love them too. At this time, all sales are final. However, our goal is to make the shopping process for moms-to-be as stress free as possible. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we encourage you to get in touch. Or, if there has been damage to your item(s) in transit, please notify us at info@nurtured9.com or call us at (520) 261-2651.
I'm not sure what my friend's size is, can she exchange for another size if it doesn't fit?
PLEASE double check sizing with your recipient! If it still winds up being an improper fit, we can discuss an exchange with your recipient if the item is unworn with tags still on. However, she will be charged return shipping, so we encourage you to discretely ask for size! You can also find our complete size guide here:
